Description

The Clock Tower is a late 19th-century structure that serves as a public memorial, commemorating Queen Victoria and her reign from 1837 to 1897. It features red brick construction accented with yellow gault brick and limestone dressings. The tower has a leaded pyramidal roof topped with a weathervane. It is designed in three stages with a square plan, showcasing round-headed arches supported by imposts. The second stage includes a stepped band and single light windows set in round leaded arches, while three clock faces are positioned above. The tower is enclosed by iron railings and timber corner posts.
