Description

The King's Head is a late 18th century inn located on the east side of Wisbech Old Market. It is constructed of local brown brick, with a stucco finish on the ground floor and features rusticated quoins. The building has a hipped slate roof with two side stacks and rises to three storeys. On the ground floor, there are two segmental-headed wings and a door to the south that is topped with a rectangular fanlight. The first floor has three four-paned hung sash windows with segmental arches, while the second floor features three smaller windows. There are photographs and prints from the 18th and 19th centuries by W. & F. Mus.
