Description

The gate piers, gates, and adjoining wall at the entrance to the cemetery were built in 1867-8 by G. W. Stephenson. They are made of rusticated stone with dressed stone details and cast iron elements. The square piers feature gabled coping topped with large foliated finials. The lower flanking walls are embattled and include cast iron work in the voids. This structure is included for its group value.
