Description

The Coronation Fountain is a memorial fountain erected in 1911 to commemorate the Coronation of King George V. It is made of cast iron and is raised on an octagonal stepped base. The fountain features a domed roof of pierced cast iron that ends in a finial with a lamp. It is open-sided, showcasing elaborate work on the spandrels and capitals of the columns. The interior of the fountain has been removed.
