Description

The gatepiers and gates to the cemetery, dating from around 1870, consist of a pair of cast iron gates featuring spear railings or dog rails. These are flanked by four cruciform gabled stone gatepiers, which are connected by a section of low stone walling topped with an ashlar parapet. This structure is included for its group value.
