Description
No 24 High Street is a house that was formerly known as The White Horse Inn. It dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. The building is constructed of painted local brick and features a plain tile roof with parapet gables and kneelers. There is a tall central ridge stack. The house has two storeys and follows a lobby entry plan. A band runs between the floors, shaped above the door and to the right. The entrance has a boarded door, and there are three casement windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all set within segmental brick arches with widened openings.
