Description

This is a 17th-century barn located about 50 yards north of the Burystead on Station Road in Wilburton. It is constructed of red brick in English bond and features a half hipped longstraw thatch roof. The barn sits on a plinth with header bricks in the upper course. An original gabled porch is situated on the east side, which has a weatherboarded gable above the doorway. At the south end, there is a tiled dormer with a boarded pitch door leading to a loft. The rear wall of the barn includes four loop openings.
