Description

This is a late 17th and early 18th century cottage located on the north side of High Street, Wilburton. It is constructed of red brick in English bond, set on a low plinth. The gable ends have tumbled parapets and kneelers, supporting a longstraw thatched roof. There are two brick stacks: one running along the ridge and another at the east end. The cottage follows a lobby entry plan and is one storey high with an attic. A single gabled dormer window is present, tiled and with a rendered gable. The render retains partly visible initials and a date. There are three ground floor windows, each of three lights with drop shutters. The lobby entry doorway has a boarded door with bead and quirk moulding.
