Description

This is an early 19th-century corn barn located to the rear of number 83 on North Street in Burwell. It is constructed of painted clunch with brick quoins and foundations, featuring a dentil eaves cornice and dressings around the openings. The barn has a red pantile roof and consists of three bays, with a storage aisle to the west. It includes geometric patterned ventilation holes and two owl holes in the gables. The barn has full height central boarded doors facing east. It is situated with access to Burwell Lode and is associated with 19th-century river trade.
