Description

This is a house dating from the 17th and early 18th centuries. Originally a three-room cottage, it now serves as a service wing to a larger house. The building is constructed of yellow gault brick with red brick quoins and dressings, with a band between floors. The south-facing elevation is plastered and features a modern porch and door. The roof is slate, with parapet gables, kneelers and end stacks. The house has two storeys and attics, with three bays. The first floor has three replacement eight-paned hung sash windows, while the ground floor has two. A rear wing has a pantiled roof with modern dormer windows and a 17th-century ridge stack.
