Description

The Cottage is an early 17th-century cottage with a three-unit plan. It features a plastered timber frame and painted brick, topped with a thatched roof that has two plain tiled gabled dormer windows. The building is one storey with an attic and includes three casement windows of varying sizes, all with glazing bars. There is a half-glazed door located in a lobby entry position and a brick ridge stack positioned to the right of the center. Inside, the cottage has stop-chamfered ceiling beams and exposed tie beams, along with a large inglenook hearth that shows evidence of a baking oven, and a staircase.
