Description
The footway and iron railings extend from the corner of Short Street outside Number 2 to Number 70 on Maid's Causeway. The cobblestone slope features east-iron railings that only reach Number 62. This raised footway is part of the remains of the Banwell Causeway, which was constructed under the will of Dr. Perse in 1615.
