Description
Benet Place, located on the north side of Lensfield Road, consists of two houses, Nos 2 and 3, built around 1820. They are constructed from gault brick and stand three storeys tall beneath a hipped slate roof. The front features a range of six windows with flat rubbed brick arches and glazing bars. Notably, the second window from either end of the second floor is blocked. The ground and first floor end windows are set in semi-circular-headed recesses. There are doorways in two-storeyed blocks at each end of the main front. Ramped screen walls connect the building to No 1 on one side and to Nos 4 and 5 on the other. Nos 1 to 5 form a cohesive group.
