No 1 Trumpington Street is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall with attics. It is constructed of brick and has a tiled roof. The building features a gabled end facing Trumpington Street and a long front along Lensfield Road, which includes a range of seven casement windows on the first floor and five flat-topped dormers. The property has been restored and reconditioned, with modern additions on the north side.
