Description
Nos 4 and 5 Benet Place, built around 1820, are two-storey buildings made of gault brick with a hipped slate roof and a wood eaves cornice. They feature a range of seven windows with flat rubbed brick arches and glazing bars. A balcony runs the entire length of the first floor, adorned with a cast-iron railing and a metal verandah. The square-headed doorway has moulded wood architraves located in the lower side wings. Inside, original fittings include plasterwork with Greek ornamentation. There are ramped screen walls connecting one side with No 3 and the other side stretching to Tennis Court Road. Nos 1 to 5 form a group.
