Description
Wothorpe Farmhouse is a derelict building dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble with dressed quoins and features a steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends that have stone coping. The farmhouse is one storey high with an attic and includes three gabled dormers; one is original stone, while the other two are likely from the 18th century. There are 19th-century casement windows, along with blocked doorway and window openings. The rear wall has three ashlar chimney stacks with offsets, one of which has a cornice and an oven at its base. At the ground floor rear, there are four stone windows with cornices. Additionally, there is a small 19th-century stone bakehouse at the south-east end, featuring a steeply pitched stone roof with gable coping and a central brick stack.
