Description
No. 26 is an 18th-century house that has been restored. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble, with the first floor on the right side rebuilt in red brick. The house features a thatched roof with concrete coping on the gable ends and stands two storeys high with four windows. The modern casements have glazing bars, and there is a modern bow window on the ground floor to the right, along with a modern door that has a thatched hood. The end stacks are rebuilt in brick. Adjoining to the north is a former barn made of coursed stone rubble, which has a lower thatched roof with a gable end and concrete coping. This barn has no openings facing the road, but modern garages have been added at the rear.
