Description

The dovecote located north-east of the Manor House in Glinton is a Grade II listed building dated 1789. It is constructed from coursed stone rubble and features flush quoins, with a square plan. The hipped slate roof, which originally had a lantern, has collapsed. There is a straight-headed doorway with a stone lintel. Inside, the walls are lined with brick nesting boxes that have stone ledges. A re-used tablet inscribed "1594 RW" is also present.
