Description

The dovecote at Manor House is a Grade II listed structure, believed to date from the late medieval period, possibly the late 16th century. It is constructed from rubble stone with quoins and features a stone slate roof. The dovecote is a square, two-storey building with four gables and a central lantern topped with a pyramidal roof. Each gable includes a two-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion window with a square hoodmould, some of which have wooden perch holes or original iron bars. There is a replaced chamfered mullion window on the north side. A stable door with a larger timber lintel is located in the south-east corner. The interior is not accessible.
