Description
The former stables at Manor House, dating from the mid-18th century, are constructed from coursed and squared rubble stone with a stone slate roof. The building features a large gable on the east side, which has a recessed plank loft door with a timber lintel. Access to the loft is provided by a flight of ten stone steps leading to a platform, followed by two additional steps to the door. Below these steps is a small kennel hole. The left side of the gable is slightly buttressed at ground level and includes a stable door and an inserted single light to the left of the steps. To the right of the steps, there is a double-width opening, and a small single stone light is positioned up the steps. The north gable end has a slit vent, while the south gable features a small rectangular light. The building is currently used for storage.
