Description
No 2, Precincts is a building from the 19th century that incorporates an earlier core. It is constructed of rubble with ashlar quoins and consists of three sections, featuring one, two, and three storeys. The roof is slate. The three-storey section on the right has gabled ends and includes three-light windows on the ground and first floors, along with three single-light windows on the second floor. The middle section has a parapet and three windows with cusped heads set in square-headed architraves. To the left, there is a one-storey gabled section that has been partly rebuilt, linking it to the Chapel of St Thomas. This building is part of a group that includes the Great Gate, Chapel of St Thomas, Archway to Dean's Court, and Nos 1 to 10 (consecutive).
