Description

PETERBOROUGH 1. 1500 BROADWAY (West Side ) Nos + to 14 (even) TL 1998 NW 1/408 II 2. Mid C19. 2 storeys in ashlar with Welsh slate roof. Plain classical style. End blocks have open pediments with keystone. Block rustication. 3-light mullion window. Name of tile firm above the springing line and to the centre section entablature. Centre section has cornice and pediment, windows of 2:3:2 lights. Ground has modern shop fronts and obscured pilastered doomway to No 12, with cornice.
