Description

39 High Street is a mid-19th century building designed in the Neoclassical style. It features a low-pitched roof covered with Welsh slate and stands three storeys tall. The ground floor is rusticated, while the upper floors have five sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor is adorned with cornices on consoles, and the second floor has architrave surrounds. At either end of the building, there are giant Greek Ionic pilasters on panelled pedestals. The central entrance includes a door with an oblong fanlight set in a reveal, surrounded by Greek Ionic half columns, an entablature, and a blocking course.
