Description

Scott's Farmhouse is a late 18th-century house located on Glinton Peakirk Road. It is constructed of coursed stone with ashlar dressings. The roof is steeply pitched, using Collyweston stone, with coped gable ends. A moulded stone cornice and blocking course run along the top of the building. The house is two storeys and has an attic. It has three bays, with sash windows containing glazing bars set within moulded stone frames with keyblocks. A mid-19th century stone porch, featuring a round arch and an entablature adorned with ball finials, is centrally positioned. Three original hipped dormers are visible. Stone chimney stacks are at each end of the building.
