Description

No 4 on Peakirk Road is an early 19th-century house built of coursed stone rubble with a banded treatment and stone quoins. It features a Collyweston stone roof with coped gable ends. The house has two storeys and a three-window range, consisting of three-light casements, with a 2-light casement in the center of the first floor. The windows have straight stone heads with keyblocks. There is a plain central doorway topped with a hood supported by shaped stone brackets. Internal brick chimney stacks are located at each end of the house. A passageway at the west end includes a stone 'Tudor' arched gateway.
