Description

Mount Pleasant is a late 18th and early 19th century house situated on Barnack Stamford Road. It is constructed of coursed stone with freestone dressings, and has a Collyweston stone roof with coped gable ends. The house has two storeys and originally comprised three bays, featuring sashes with glazing bars. The windows are characterized by flat stone arches and continuous cill bands. A central doorway is present, incorporating a rectangular fanlight and a flush panel door, now with a modern hood supported on brackets. Ashlar internal stacks are located at each end of the building. Early 19th century gabled additions are visible at the rear, also built of stone with Collyweston stone roofs.
