Description

Close House is an 18th-century house built of dressed stone. It features a steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with coped gable ends. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The first floor has tripartite sash windows with glazing bars, while the centre window on this floor is a single light. On the ground floor, there are two canted bay windows, also with sashes. The central entrance is a half-glazed door topped with a rectangular fanlight. Inside, there are stone end chimney stacks.
