Description

The dovecot and stable range located east-north-east of Close House is an early 19th-century structure. It features a coursed stone rubble construction topped with a Collyweston stone roof and has coped gable ends. The ground floor includes stable doors and windows, and there are external stone stairs at the north end leading to a loft door. At the south end, there is a gabled dovecot with a hipped lantern, wide garage doors have been added at the ground floor, and a lean-to is present on the south side. This building is noted for its group value with the surrounding structures.
