Description

No 11, known as Ampthill News, is a late 18th century narrow-fronted office building located on Church Street. It is approximately 15 feet wide and has three storeys constructed of brick, topped with a parapet. The ground floor features a very wide and slightly bowed shop window that is combined with the doorway. Next to the doorway, there is a contemporary iron street lamp. Each of the upper storeys has a single wide three-light window. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 39 (odd) and the Court House, along with No 127 Dunstable Street.
