Description

Nos 3 and 5 Church Street are late 18th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall, constructed of brick painted vermillion. They feature deeply projecting eaves beneath a Welsh slate roof and have seven windows, with mostly modern shop-windows on the ground floor and grooved keystones on the first floor. There is a carriage archway, and the door of No 3 is unusual, resembling the door of Brandreth House at No 36 Church Street. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 39 (odd) and the Court House, along with No 127 Dunstable Street.
