Description
This is a house located at 30 Ickwell Green, dating from the 18th century with some alterations made in the 20th century. The exterior features colourwashed roughcast over a timber frame and a hipped roof covered with clay tiles. The house has a two-room layout, consisting of one storey and attics. On the ground floor, there are two three-light casement windows with glazing bars, while the attic includes two gabled dormers with two-light casement windows, also with glazing bars. The central front door is made up of six moulded panels, framed by a moulded architrave and topped with a flat hood supported by cut brackets. At the rear, there is a red brick double ridge stack that serves back-to-back hearths. The roof hips and gabled dormers were rebuilt in the 20th century, and there is a 20th-century addition at the back of the house. This property is included for its group value.
