Description

Thackit Eaves is an 18th-century house situated in Northill. The main body of the house is timber-framed with a colourwashed roughcast finish, and has a thatched roof. It comprises a three-room main block of one storey and attics, with a single-storey and attic block projecting from the rear. The ground floor features three two-light casement windows, two of which have triangular heads, all with glazing bars. There are also two dormers with two-light casement windows with glazing bars. A plank door is topped by a triangular head. The building includes one rebuilt red brick ridge stack and a red brick external stack on the north gable end. The roof is hipped to the south and half-hipped to the north.
