Description

This is an 18th-century house located on Ickwell Green, Northill, Ickwell. It is timber framed with a prominent brick plinth and a colourwashed roughcast exterior. The roof is covered in clay tiles. The house originally had a two-room layout, with a single storey and attics. It features two ground-floor windows with two lights, containing glazing bars. A plain door is set within a moulded surround on the right-hand side. A red brick stack rises from the centre of the roof with a double ridge. A single-storey addition was built to the rear in the 20th century. A plaque indicates the house was restored in 1944.
