Description

28 School Lane is a cottage from the Southill Estate, originally built as a pair, with a plaque that reads "S W 1796," which may be from the 20th century but is likely accurate. The cottage features colourwashed roughcast over a timber frame and has a clay tile roof. It has a total of four rooms, arranged over one storey with attics. The ground floor includes two two-light and two three-light casement windows, while the attic has two box dormers with two-light casements. There are two doorways that have been blocked and replaced by a central gabled porch. A central double ridge stack made of red brick is also present.
