Description

Old Bank House is an early 19th-century building located on Lake Street in Leighton Buzzard. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate, along with a panelled cornice. The building stands three storeys tall and has three sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals beneath flat arches. The ground floor displays stucco-faced lintels. The upper floors are adorned with three tall Doric pilasters. The entrance door is positioned on the right and is framed by Doric attached columns that support a modern gable. This building is included for its group value, as it is part of a group with Nos 16 to 22 (even).
