WRESTLINGWORTH & COCKAYNE HATLEY TL 2449 COCKAYNE HATLEY 6/124 The Well House - II House. C17 and C18, formerly with panel above door bearing date 1707. Timber framed structure under colourwashed roughcast render. Clay tile roofs. L- plan, one storey and attics, earlier block to W. W elevation: ground floor has 2 3-light casements with diamond leading. Attic has 2 gabled dormers containing 3-light C20 replacement casements with diamond leading. Central doorway has part-glazed panelled door under gabled open porch. This is in line with brick ridge stack serving back-to-back hearth, and forms lobby entrance. NE block slightly lower, parts of wall cased in colourwashed brick. Variety of casement windows.
