Description
Seacot's Lodge is a lodge cottage located on the northwest side of Southill Park, dating from the early 19th century and designed in the cottage ornee style. The building features a combination of colourwashed brick and colourwashed roughcast, which may be over a timber frame, and is topped with a fishscale tile roof. It has a two-room plan with semi-octagonal ends and consists of one storey with attics.
The west, south, and east elevations have walls that are recessed to create a continuous verandah supported by rustic timbers. The north end has walls that align with the eaves. All windows feature semi-circular heads and leaded casements, and there are two box dormers with similar windows. The lodge has round-headed doorways, one located at the north end and another on the east elevation. A red brick ridge stack with a pair of diagonal flues is present, along with a lean-to addition at the rear.
