Description
No. 41 Horslow Street is a house from the 18th century, which appears to have been modified from an earlier structure. The front and right side are made of red brick, while the left side is rendered and includes some timber framing. The roof is covered with clay tiles. The main part of the house has a two-room layout, is two storeys tall with attics, and features a symmetrical facade. Both the ground and first floors have two 2-light casement windows with glazing bars. The attic includes two gabled dormers, with the left one retaining a 2-light casement window with glazing bars. The central doorway has a six-panel door set in panelled reveals, and is topped by an open pediment. There is a red brick integral stack on the left gable end, and the rear block has a rebuilt brick ridge stack with diagonal shafts.
