Description

Grand Union House, also known as Canal House, is an early 19th-century building located on Leighton Road in Linslade. It is constructed of colour-washed brick and features a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate, complete with an eaves cornice. The building is two storeys tall and has sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals under flat arches. The front facade has three windows, with a central dummy window on the first floor and modern closed windows on the ground floor. The central doorway is framed by panelled reveals, slim Doric pilasters, and an entablature topped with a cornice hood.
