Description
The Post Office Stores and adjoining house is a mid-19th century building located in Church End, Eversholt. It features colourwashed brick with colourwashed render on the left-hand end and has a hipped slate roof. The facade has four bays and is two storeys high. The windows are sash style with glazing bars set in moulded surrounds. The second bay contains a part-glazed door topped by a rectangular fanlight, framed by a simple pilastered surround with a moulded cornice. The right-hand bay retains an early shop front, which includes a recessed doorway and a moulded cornice. There is one brick integral stack at the left-hand end and a ridge stack serving the two right-hand bays. This building is included for its group value.
