Description

This headstone, made of limestone, is located approximately 10 meters southeast of the south aisle of the Church of St Peter in Cockayne Hatley. It likely dates from around 1700 and features deeply carved scrollwork decoration on all sides, including a cresting with a skull and bones. The inscription on the headstone is currently illegible.
