Description

Old Warden Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, with modifications made in the 20th century. The exterior features colourwashed roughcast over a timber frame and a clay tile roof. Originally designed as a two-room plan cottage with one storey and attics, it has been extended to an L-shape due to a 20th-century addition of another one-storey and attics wing to the east. The original block's west elevation has two 2-light casement windows and one single light window on the ground floor, along with a gabled dormer featuring a 2-light casement, all equipped with glazing bars. There is a 20th-century lean-to porch aligned with a red brick double ridge stack, and a red brick gable end stack is located to the north. The cottage is included for its group value.
