Description

Green End Cottage is an 18th-century house in Maulden. It is timber framed with colourwashed brick infill, and some replacement brick sections, set on a colourwashed rubble plinth. The roof is thatched. The house has a three-room plan, one storey, and attics, with a gable end facing the road. The south elevation has a 20th-century French window with a side-light in the central bay, and a two-light casement window in each of the outer bays. There are three eyebrow dormers with two-light casement windows with glazing bars in the attic. A 20th-century door is positioned in line with a red brick double ridge stack.
