Description
Mill Farmhouse is a house that was formerly a mill and mill house, dating from around 1700. It has a timber-framed structure with red brick infill and a plinth, while the house features pebbledash render. The roof is covered in clay tiles. The building is two storeys high and has a two-room plan, with an adjoining mill building of the same height that projects to the rear, creating a T-plan layout.
On the west elevation, the ground floor has two 2-light casement windows with glazing bars, and the first floor, which includes the mill, has four casement windows in a similar style. There are plank doors, one located at the center of the house and another to the left of the mill. The house features a 20th-century gabled porch. At the junction between the house and the mill, there is a red brick ridge stack. The mill also has a sack hoist that projects from the apex of the right-hand gable.
