Description
Wood Farm Cottage is a house dating from the early and later 17th century. It is a substantial timber-framed structure with a colourwashed roughcast render on the exterior and a 20th-century tile roof. The cottage has a three-room plan and two storeys, with the right-hand room appearing to be a later addition. On the ground floor, there are four two-light casement windows with glazing bars, while the first floor features two two-light casements and one single-light window, all with glazing bars. A plank door, inserted in the 20th century, is aligned with a red brick ridge stack, and the original entrance was at the rear. Inside, the cottage has curved braces supporting the roof and walls, and there are diamond mullion holes in the ground floor left-hand window. A 20th-century gabled extension projects from the rear.
