Description

No. 3 Mill Lane is a house, likely once two cottages, dating from the 18th century. It features colourwashed roughcast over a timber frame and has a thatched roof. The building has a two-room layout, with one storey and attics. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light casement windows, while the attic includes two eyebrow dormers, each with 2-light casements. There is a plank door on the right-hand side, which is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled open porch. Evidence of a blocked doorway can be seen on the left-hand side. A central double ridge stack has been removed, and there is a 20th-century flat-roofed extension at the rear.
