Description

Roxton House Lodge is an early 19th-century lodge cottage. The main block is made of colour washed rough cast, while the southern block is constructed from colour washed brick. It features a thatched roof and has a single storey with an octagonal plan, complemented by a rectangular block to the south, designed in the cottage ornee style. The octagonal block has a conical roof that extends beyond the building, supported by rustic timbers to create a verandah. The entrance door and two casement windows, all with glazing bars, have triangular heads. There is a central red brick chimney stack, and the rectangular block includes a two-light horizontal sash window facing the road.
