Description

No. 25 on The Moor is a 17th-century house that has undergone alterations and an extension in the 18th century. The original 17th-century section features a ground floor made of coursed limestone rubble and a timber-framed first floor, topped with a thatched roof. The front elevation of the ground floor has two casement windows with glazing bars, which are positioned on either side of a 20th-century trelliswork porch that also has a thatched roof. To the right, there is an 18th-century projecting wing that is lower than the earlier section. This wing is constructed of colourwashed coursed limestone rubble and also has a thatched roof. It consists of one storey and attics, with a gable end facing the road that includes an attic sash window and a ground floor 2-light casement window.
