Description

Crossways is an 18th-century house located in Carlton and Chellington. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and has a pebbledash render. The roof is made of Welsh slate. The house features a two-room plan and stands two storeys tall with gable end stacks. On the first floor, there are two 19th-century sash windows. The ground floor has a central doorway that is topped by a cut bracketed doorhood. To the left of the doorway is a 19th-century sash window with glazing bars, and to the right is a large fixed window that measures five panes wide by two panes deep. There is a one-storey extension to the right, which is also pebbledashed and has an asbestos tile roof.
