Description
Chellington House is a 17th-century house that was remodeled in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a 20th-century concrete tile roof with stone gable coping. The building has two storeys and attics, with an off-centre double brick ridge stack aligned with the front door, along with two gable red brick stacks. There are two attic box dormers.
On the first floor, there are four 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor includes one canted bay window, one sash window with glazing bars, a gabled porch with scalloped bargeboards and a doorway featuring a cambered arch, another canted bay window, another sash window with glazing bars, and a single light casement with glazing bars set under a timber lintel.
